Michael Rosenberg è nato
il 7 marzo del 1954 a
New York si è trasferito da bambino a
Glasgow in Scozia che era la città natale dei suoi genitori, lì
ha imparato a giocare a bridge nel famoso "Ken Muir Bridge Club" di
Albert Benjamin, per poi tornare nel
1978 a New York, dove si è laureato e dove è divenuto un apprezzato analista
finanziario.
La
sua abilità bridgistica esplode quando è ancora in Gran Bretagna dove diviene il più giovane vincitore della
British Gold Cup e del Sunday Times
Pairs, tuttavia, diviene un professionista del bridge solo nei primi
anni del nuovo secolo.
Si è
sposato nel 1996 con Debbie e l'anno successivo
hanno avuto Kevin, poi, nel 2011 si sono trasferiti in
California.

Stati Uniti ha vinto
diversi NABC tra cui ricordiamo le Reisinger
nel 1989 e 1996, i Mitchell nel 1991,
1996 e 2006, le
Vanderbilt
nel 1994 e 1996, le
Spingold del 1991 e 2003, il
Silodor del 2003, nonché,
4 USBC. In Inghilterra vinse la Gold Cup del
1976.
Tuttavia, i suoi successi più prestigiosi
sono in campo internazionale, con il secondo posto ai Campionati del Mondo
di Albuquerque in coppia con Bob Hamman
nel 1994 e con la vittoria della Rosenblum
Cup nello stesso anno e della
Senior Bowl del 2015.

Michael figura nella classifica dei 50 giocatori in vita più forti di ogni
tempo ed è anche un valente giocatore di

Michael è stato anche eletto dall'ACBL
due volte giocatore dell'anno (1994 e 2003).
Nel 2015 è
stato eletto nella Hall
of Fame del bridge americano, nel 2017 ha vinto la
Bermuda Bowl e nel 2018,
accoppiato alla moglie, ha vinto i
World Mixed Teams.
Nel 2022 "The
expert's expert" ha
aggiunto alla collana dei suoi successi il
Jacoby.
Debbie Zuckerberg Rosenberg che è nata nel 1969
a Queens, ha
studiato alla Benjamin Cardozo di Bayside
ed ha vissuto a lungo in diverse città dello stato di New York prima di

Debbie è anche un apprezzata insegnante che
si sta dedicando con passione all'insegnamento giovanile ed ha anche guidato la
Nazionale Pakistana.
Kevin Rosenberg è nato il 15
marzo del 1997 ed è un aspirante professionista che ha iniziato la carriera
vincendo l'argento nei Mondiali Giovanili del 2014 e vincendo nel 2016 il BAM
Teams al
Campionato Mondiale Giovanile.
Nel 2017 da
World Master vince i
Campionati del Mondo Transnazionali a
Squadre Juniores e guadagna il titolo di
World Master.
Nel 2018 vince
il BAM Open ai Campionati
Mondiali Giovanili, nel 2019 lo
Swiss nella stessa
competizione e nel 2022 i
Transnazionali Mondiali U26.
Michael Rosenberg (born
7 March, 1954 in New York
City, New York) is one of the top bridge players in the United States.
He moved to Scotland as a child and returned to New York in 1990
where he lives with his wife Debbie, also a top player.
Michael won the 1994 Rosenblum Cup, and was second in the World Open
Pairs Championship in 1994 (with Bob Hamman) and 2002 (with Zia Mahmood).
As
of 2007 he has won fourteen North American championships, as well as
multiple wins in the major invitational tournaments. He has also won the
World Bridge Federation (WBF) Par competition in 1998, a test of
declarer play skill, and is known for his advocacy of a high standard of
ethical behavior for players.
He
is known as "The expert's expert" for his encyclopedic knowledge of
card play techniques, and a frequent contributor for The Bridge World.

Debbie
Rosenberg Zuckerberg was born in 1969, studied at the Benjamin Cardozo of
Bayside and has long lived in various cities in the state of New York before
moving to California. She was highlighted by winning the 1991 Damiani Trophy and
earning the bronze medal in the following of 1993. Today she is a World
Women Grand Master as well as several national titles, won the Venice Cup in
2007 and the World Championship Pairs Championship in 2002, silver in Mc Connell
Cup in 2006 and the bronze in the European Women of 2009.
Paired
Michael, in 2018, she won the World Mixed Teams, in 2022 she earned a silver
medal in Wuhan Cup that win in 2023.
At national
level she won 7 NABC included the GNT 2017.
Debbie is also a
popular teacher who is working on with passion for teaching youth.
Kevin was born on 15 March 1997, lives in Cupertino, California with his parents
and is an aspiring professional who began his career earning the silver medal at the World
Youth 2014 and winnig the BAM Teams in the 2016 World Youth Championships.
In 2017 how
World Master he won the Youth Bridge Open Teams and he earned the title of
World Master.
In 2018 he
won the Bam Open at the World Youth Teams Championships, in 2019 he won the
Swiss Open in same competition and in 2022 he won Transnational World Teams U26.
