Born in Parma in 1961, since the young age of 17 years, the life of Norberto Bocchi is almost entirely dedicated to that bridge, between the commitments of the sponsored teams and the national team, do not leave him much time to cultivate other passions. Among his other prestigious international titles he earned: 2 first places in the MEC-pair (1989, 1996), 2 Spingold (2001 and 2002), the Forbo Nation Cup in 1997 and 2002, the Forbo International Teams in 1997, 2001 and 2002, the Australian National Summer (2001), the Reisinger (2000), the Jacoby (2001), the Vanderbilt (2004, 2015 and 2016), the World Politikien Pair (2000), the Rosenblum Cup (2002), the Champion Cup in 2002, 2003, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, the Mitchell in 2002, 4 times Open Pairs in Biarritz (1989, 1990, 1995, 2003) and 2 times the Patton Scratch (1996 and 2010), the White House in 2006 and 2008, the NEC and the Cup in 2010.
He earned the title of World Grand Master WBF and that of the European Grand Master by the EBL and permanently occupies a premier position in world ranking published the WBF.
