La EBL in stretta collaborazione con la Federazione Monegasca hanno organizzato nel 2016 la prima edizione dei Campionati Europei Invernali Transnazionali
La competizione è aperta ai giocatori che non riescono a qualificarsi per i knock-outs della Zimmermann Cup
L'evento prevede due giorni di qualificazione e due giorni di finali
Le squadre possono essere composte da giocatori di qualsiasi nazionalità
Le prime 3 edizioni sono state sponsorizzate dal campione svizzero Pierre Zimmermann
Nelle prime 3 edizioni i giocatori esclusi dalla prima fase hanno potuto partecipare al FMB BAM Trophy
Nel 2024 la competizione è stata sostituita dal Campionato Transnazionale Europeo Invernale che è previsto con frequenza annuale
