Nato nel 1967 a Lublino in Polonia, laureato in ingegnera meccanica, prima di trasferirsi definitivamente negli Stati Uniti ha lavorato in un'industria petrolifera della sua città ed è stato il più giovane di un gruppo di fortissimi giocatori della nuova generazione dei bridgisti polacchi.

È entrato a far parte della rappresentativa del suo Paese raggiungendo piazzamenti prestigiosi come il 2° posto ai Campionati Europei di Montecatini nel 1997, il bronzo alla Bemuda Bowl del 2001, la vittoria nel Campionato Mondiale a Coppie di Lille nel 1998, un argento ed un bronzo agli Europei, nel 2002 un argento allo IOC Grand Prix di Salt Lake City e un bronzo nella Rosenblum Cup di Montreal.
Pepsi, come lo chiamano affettuosamente i suoi amici, ha anche vinto il Cavendish Pair nel 2001 e nel 2004, la Vanderbilt del 2002, la NEC Cup del 2001.
Nel 2008 ha contribuito a riportare la Warren Buffet Cup al di qua dell'Oceano.
Nel 2009 ha vinto l'argento nel Transnational di San Paolo.
Infine, nel 2011 si è portato via anche l'oro dei Transnazionali Europei a Squadre Open.
Questi risultati gli hanno valso il titolo di World Grand Master e stabilmente una delle prime 20 posizioni nella classifica dei migliori giocatori in attività.
