La EBL in stretta collaborazione con la Federazione Monegasca hanno organizzato nel 2016 la prima edizione dei Campionati Europei Invernali Transnazionali
L'evento prevede tre giorni di qualificazione con formula Swiss e quattro giorni di knocks-outs
Le squadre possono essere composte da giocatori di qualsiasi nazionalità
Le prime 4 edizioni sono state organizzate dal campione svizzero Pierre Zimmermann
Nelle prime 3 edizioni i giocatori esclusi dalla prima fase hanno potuto partecipare al FMB BAM Trophy
Dopo le interruzioni dovute alla pandemia la 4ª edizione è stata sponsorizzata dagli hotel Les Etincelles e da Green Corp
Nel 2024 la competizione è stata sostituita dal Campionato Transnazionale Europeo Invernale che è previsto con frequenza annuale
The European Bridge League and the Federation Monegasque de Bridge are organized the first edition of the European Winter Games in 2016
