Cedric è nato nel 1989 a Mulhouse una città presso il confine con la Svizzera ed ha studiato al Liceo di Zillisheim per poi laurearsi in chimica industriale alla Scuola Superiore della sua città. Attualmente sta continuando gli studi per prendere il suo PhD.
Cedric che è fidanzato con Aurelie Thizy fin dal 2006, vive nei pressi della capitale francese e rappresenta una delle più interessanti promesse del bridge d'oltralpe.
Ha iniziato a giocare a bridge quando aveva 8 anni sotto la guida del nonno che lo portava a giocare in un club della sua città.
Ha 14 anni è stato cooptato nello School Team della Nazionale francese ed ha iniziato a mietere i suoi primi allori. Nel 2007 ha vinto il bronzo nei Campionati Europei Studenteschi a Squadre e nel 2008 l'oro in quelli Mondiali.
Nel 2009 ha vinto i Campionati Europei a Squadre Juniores e nel 2010 ha guadagnato l'argento in quelli Mondiali.
In ambito universitario, nel 2009 ha vinto il bronzo ai Campionati Europei a Coppie e l'argento in quelli a Squadre, nel 2010 l'argento nei Mondiali a Squadre.
Nel 2011 è arrivato secondo agli Open Trials Nazionali e spera di poter partecipare ai prossimi Campionati Europei Open con la nazionale del suo Paese.
Cedric was born in 1989 in
Mulhouse a city near the border with Switzerland and studied at the School of
Zillisheim and graduated in industrial chemistry at the Superior School in his
hometown. He continues his studies to earn his PhD.
Cedric, that is engaged with Aurelie Thizy since 2006, today lives near the French capital and is one of the most exciting promises of the French bridge.
He started playing bridge when he was 8 years under the guidance of his grandfather taking him to play at a local club in them city.
He was co-opted to 14 years in the French National School Team and began to claim his first laurels. In 2007 he won a bronze medal in the European School Teams Championships and in 2008 he earned a gold medal in the World School Teams Championships.
In 2009 he won the Europeans Juniors Teams Championships and in 2010 he earned the silver in World Juniors Teams Championships.
In the university area, in 2009 he won the bronze at the European Pairs Championships and silver in the European Teams Championships and in 2010 an other silver in World Teams Championships.
In 2011 he finished 2nd in French open trials, so he hopes to participate with the Open French team for the next EC.
