Aurélie Thizy è nata nel 1989 a Grandfontaine un paese nei pressi di Besançon, ha studiato Statistica ed è amante della musica, della danza e del tennis.

Campionessa di Francia a Squadre nel 2006 è una delle promesse del bridge giovanile transalpino. Ai Mondiali a Squadre Giovanili Femminili ha guadagnato l'argento nel 2004, agli Europei Giovanili a Squadre Femminili ha conquistato l'argento nel 2009 ed il bronzo nel 2011.
Suo fratello Clement fa parte anche lui delle Nazionali giovanili.
