Michael Brad Moss è nato il 5 febbraio del 1971 a New York City da una coppia di bridgisti del calibro di Mike Moss e Gail Greenberg (nella foto a destra), ha vissuto per qualche anno a S. Anselmo una cittadina a 35 Km. da San Francisco e poi si è trasferito a Denver.
Con tali maestri, Brad a 18 anni è stato ACBL King of Bridge e due anni dopo ha vinto il titolo di miglior giocatore di New York.
Il fratello Andrew Moss, di un anno più giovane, è anche lui un accreditato bridgista che ha vinto lo stesso titolo del fratello due anni più tardi (1991), la sorellastra Jill moglie di Bob Levin, di 10 anni più grande, è una pluricampionessa mondiale.
Sposato con Jennifer che gli ha dato due figli Cian e Lyra, dopo essere stato il fondatore dell'hedge fund Crosscourt Capital, raggiunta la sicurezza economica, si è dedicato a tempo pieno alla famiglia e al bridge.
Brad ha conquistato il suo primo NABC's nel 1991 vincendo il Mixed BAM Teams e più tardi ha formato una formidabile coppia con il genio dell'informatica bridgistica americana Fred Gitelman con il quale ha giocato molti anni.
Ha vinto il Cavendish Pair's del 2003, il Cavendish Team's del 2001, le Vanderbilt del 2018 e 2023, il Mitchell nel 1998 e 2018, la Reisinger nel 2001, le Spingold nel 2005/10/16, il Jacoby nel 2010, il GNT nel 1993 ed il predecessore del White House nel 1994 e nel 2001.
Sul piano internazionale ha vinto la Rosenblum Cup del 2010, è arrivato secondo nel Transnational Open Teams del 2000, terzo nella Bermuda Bowl del 2005 e nella prima edizione dei World Mind nel 2011 ha conquistato il bronzo sia nel Coppie Libere che nell'Individuale Maschile.
Nel 2010 è stato eletto Giocatore dell'Anno dall'ACBL e nel 2012 ha fatto parte della squadra USA che ha vinto la Buffett Cup.
Infine nel 2017 il trionfo con la vittoria della Bermuda Bowl seguita dall'argento nel Coppie Open ai World Bridge Series del 2018.

Brother Andrew Moss, one year younger, is also an accredited bridge player who won the same title as his brother two years later (1991), half-sister Jill wife of Bob Levin, 10 years older, is a multiple world champion.
Married to Jennifer who gave him two children Cian and Lyra, after being the founder of the hedge fund Crosscourt Capital, once he was financially secure, he devoted himself full time to family and bridge.
Brad earned his first NABC's in 1991 by winning the Mixed BAM Teams and later formed a formidable partnership with American bridge computer genius Fred Gitelman with whom he played for many years.
Won 2003 Cavendish Pair's, 2001 Cavendish Team's, 2018 and 2023 Vanderbilt, 1998 and 2018 Mitchell, 2001 Reisinger, 2005/10/16 Spingold, 2010 Jacoby, 2010 GNT 1993 and the predecessor of the White House in 1994 and 2001.
Internationally, he won the 2010 Rosenblum Cup, finished second in the 2000 Transnational Open Teams, third in the 2005 Bermuda Bowl and in the first edition of the World Mind in 2011 he won bronze in both the Open Pairs and the Men's Individual.
He was named ACBL Player of the Year in 2010 and was part of the USA team that won the Buffett Cup in 2012.
Finally in 2017 the triumph with the victory of the Bermuda Bowl followed by the silver in the Open Pairs at the 2018 World Bridge Series.
