Nato nel 1945 a Roma, laureato in economia è un valente bridgista che ha iniziato a giocare all'età di 22 anni e che ha conquistato il titolo di World Life Master e che ha fatto parte del System Committee della EBL e della WBF.
Come giocatore sul piano internazionale ha conquistato due argenti ed un oro nei Campionati Europei a squadre Open (1974, 1983, 1995), una argento al mondiale a squadre del 1983 e alle Olimpiadi del 1976, un oro al Campioanto Europeo a Squadre del MEC Juniores (1971), due nel MEC a Squadre Open (1979 e 83), ,
Sul piano nazionale ha vinto due Coppa Italia (1978 e 1986), tre Campionati a Squadre Open (1979, 1980, 1986), uno a Squadre Miste (1997) ed uno nella Categoria Seniores (2005).
Negli ultimi anni è diventato Commissario Tecnico delle squadre Nazionali e ha vinto l'Europeo a Squadre Open nel 1995, 1997 e 1999, quello a Squadre Transnazionali Femminili nel 2003 e, primo trofeo di Categoria della storia azzurra: il bronzo agli Europei Seniores del 2010.
Born in 1945 in Rome, graduated in economics is a skilled bridge player who
began playing at the age of 22 years and has earned the title of World Life
Master and has been part of the System Committee of the EBL and WBF.
As a player at international level he won two silvers and a
gold in the Open European Team Championships 1974, 1983, 1995, a silver at the
Bermuda Bowl in 1983 and at the Olympiad 1976 , a gold in the European Junior
Team of MEC (1971) more other two in the MEC Open Team (1979 and 83).
At the national level he won two Italy Cup (1978 and 1986), three Open Team
Championships(1979, 1980, 1986), one Mixed Team Championships (1997) and one
Senior Team Championships (2005).
In recent years it has become coach the National Teams and in this position he won the European Open Teams in 1995, 1997 and 1999, the Women Transnational Teams in 2003 and the first medal Senior for Italy: a bronze at the European Seniors Teams in 2010.
