Petra  HAMMAN

 Petra Voigt è nata in Germania ad Halle una cittadina  a metà strada tra Hannover e Dresda, ma, nove anni più tardi, la sua famiglia si trasferì prima ad Amburgo e poi, due anni più tardi, a Grand Rapids nel Michigan.

 È sposata da 15 anni con il grandissimo Bob Hamman, ha due figlie che vivono nei dintorni di Detroit lavorando nell'industria dei cavalli e, oggi, vive a Dallas facendo l'insegnante e la giocatrice di bridge e coltivando l'altra grande sua passione: il tennis.

 Petra ha conseguito il titolo di World Life Master della WBF e ha fatto parte della rappresentativa femminile USA che ha vinto le Olimpiadi femminili di Maastricht del 2000 e che ha conseguito il 3° posto nell'ultima Venice Cup di Parigi 2001.

 Ha vinto anche molti titoli nazionali, ultimo tra i quali, l'Open Pair ai Summer NABC's del 2007.

When Petra Hamman came into the world, it was as Petra Voigt of Halle in what at the time was East Germany. 

Nine years later, the family moved to Hamburg, in West Germany. East German residents were allowed to leave at the time, but only if they took nothing with them.After two years in Hamburg, the family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

Petra has two daughters, both self-employed in the horse industry (riding and training) in the Detroit area. 

Petra teaches bridge in Dallas and, on a daily basis, indulges her other passion - tennis. 

She is wife of the big Bob.
