Nato nel 1982 ad Hamar, una cittadina norvegese circa 130 Km a Nord di Oslo famosa per aver ospitato i giochi olimpici invernali, ha completato il servizio militare nell'Aviazione ed è iscritto all'Università di Trondheim.

 In Squadra con il fratello ha vinto l'argento nel 2000 e il bronzo nel 2002 ai Campionati Juniores Under 20.

    Erik is the eldest of a large Norwegian family that is likely to follow in the footsteps of the most famous French brothers Bessis.

 Born in 1982 in Hamar, a Norwegian town about 130 km north of Oslo that is famous for having hosted the Winter Olympic Games, has completed his military service in the Air Force and joined the University of Trondheim.

In team with his brother won the silver in 2000 and the bronze in the 2002 at the Under 20 Junior Championships.
