Jeffrey Wolfson è nato e cresciuto nel New Jersey e dopo gli studi, durante i quali ha conosciuto il bridge, si è trasferito in Italia dove ha vissuto a Bologna per circa 6 anni.
Per questo motivo molti dei bridgisti italiani degli anni '80 si ricordano bene di lui.
Oggi vive metà dell'anno a Chicago e l'altra metà a Boca Raton in Florida occupandosi quasi esclusivamente di bridge.
World Life Master e Senior Life Master, ha vinto il Campionato del Mondo Senior nel 2017 diciassette anni dopo aver vinto il bronzo nella Bermuda Bowl.
Sempre nel 2017 ha anche vinto l'argento agli Europei Senior giocando in squadra con Masoero e Garozzo.
Sul circuito americano ha vinto 6 NABC tra i quali ricordiamo le Vanderbilt del 2019 e del 2023, Il GNT del 1997e del 2023 ed il Bam Mitchell del 1991.

Wolfson was born and raised in New Jersey and after his studies, during which he
learned about bridge, he moved to Italy where he lived in Bologna for about 6
years.
For this reason many of the Italian bridge players of the 80s remember him well. Today he lives half the year in Chicago and the other half in Boca Raton in Florida, dealing almost exclusively with bridge.
World Life Master and Senior Life Master, he won the Senior World Championship in 2017 seventeen years after winning bronze in the Bermuda Bowl. Also in 2017 he also won silver at the Senior European Championships playing as a team with Masoero and Garozzo.
On the American circuit he has won 6 NABCs including the Vanderbilt of 2019 and 2023, the GNT of 1997 and 2023 and the Bam Mitchell of 1991.
