Classe 1953, nato a Minneapolis nel Minnesota, residente a San Diego, agente specializzato nelle opzioni del mercato azionario fino a qualche anno fa oggi è in pensione ed è un un valente bridgista che ha anche occupato diverse cariche nell'ambito dell'American Contract Bridge League.
Sul piano nazionale Howie ha vinto oltre 50 tra titoli regionali e nazionali tra i quali le Reisinger nel 1997 e nel 2001 e, la Vanderbilt nel 1993.

divoratore di cibo cinese, amante del golf, Howie è anche noto per la sua strana fobia verso i formaggi. He is a former options trader who retired a few years ago so he could pursue
every hedonistic avenue known to man.
To Howie, a good day is
spending the day on the golf course, smoking a few
cigars, finishing up with a Chinese dinner with a
few nightcaps.
To make it a great day, there
is a lady involved in the dinner and the nightcaps.
He has one strange phobia;
cheese. Apparently he was attacked as a young boy by
some neighborhood cheese bullys and to this day he
eats cheeseless pizza.
Howard Weinstein was born in Minneapolis and lives in San Diego.
