Tor Eivind Grude è nato il 24 agosto 1991 a Sømna una splendida cittadina rivierasca affacciata sul mar di Norvegia che si trova circa 400 km a nord di Trondheim, città dove ora studia e vive.

 Tor ha tre sorelle, Sissel,  Lillian e Liv Marit, l'ultima delle quali nata nel 1985 è un'ottima bridgista che fa parte della nazionale norvegese, che ha vinto il bronzo agli Europei Femminili per Nazioni del 2018 e che può vantare il titolo di World Women Master.

 Anche la loro mamma Marian è una discreta bridgista di livello nazionale così come il papà Gunneleiv.

 Studente in matematica con l'aspirazione di divenire un professionista del bridge in campo nazionale ha vinto il Campionato Norvegese a Squadre Miste.

 World Master, in campo internazionale ha iniziato a vincere nel 2014, allineando prima la President Cup e poi il Campionato Mondiale a Squadre Juniores.

 Nel 2015 ha guadagnato l'argento ai Campionati del Mondo Juniores nello Swiss Teams ed il bronzo nel BAM Teams, mentre, nel 2019 ha vinto il Jacoby.

  Tor Eivind Grude was born August 24, 1991 in Sømna a beautiful coastal town overlooking the Norwegian Sea which is located about 400 km north of Trondheim,, the city where he now studies and lives.
