Pierre Adad "il generale" è nato nel 1937 ed è stato uno dei migliori giocatori francesi dello scorso secolo.
Generale dell'esercito, ha lavorato al Politecnico, al CEA, al SNPE ed è stato membro del CdA di "Les Poudriers d'Escampette".
World International Master e Senior Master, ha vinto le Olimpiadi del 1992, i Campionati Europei Senior del 1997, 1999 e 2002, i Campionati Europei Senior Transnazionali del 2003, i Campionati Europei Transnazionali del 2003.
Ha inoltre conquistato un argento nelle Olimpiadi Senior del 2000, nel Campionato Mondiale Senior del 2003 e nel Campionati Europei Senior del 2001, un bronzo nel Campionato Mondiale Misto del 1996 e nel Campionati Europei Senior del 2004.
Tra gli altri innumerevoli piazzamenti conseguiti ricordiamo anche l'oro nel Campionato Seniore MEC del 1996 e la vittoria del Patton Biarritz del 2014.
Grande amante del golf, scomparve all'inizio di dicembre 2023 a Sceaux non lontano dalla capitale.
