Martine è nata ad Amsterdam nel 1962, ha imparato a giocare a bridge a 14 anni e oggi vive a Rotterdam con il suo compagno Ron Pannebakker, anche lui eccellente bridgista, dove gestisce una sua libreria.

 Martine, che è una World Women Grand Master che ha fatto più volte parte della nazionale olandese, nel 1998 a Salsomaggiore ha vinto i Campionati Europei a Squadre del MEC , nel 2000 ha conquistato il bronzo negli Individuali Mondiali di Atene e, sempre nel 2000, ha conquistato il suo alloro più prestigioso vincendo la Venice Cup ad Hamilton. 

 Recentemente, oltre ad essere divenuta coach della nazionale juniores olandese che nel 2006 ha vinto i Campionati Europei, ha rinverdito il suo palmares conquistando nel 2009 l'argento agli Europei Femminili Transnazionali a Squadre e l'oro negli Europei Femminili Open a Coppie e nel 2010 l'argento negli Europei Femminili a squadre e l'argento a Philadelphia nella Mc Connell Cup del 2010.

Martine Verbeek born in Amsterdam in 1962, is living together with Ron Pannebakker in Rotterdam.

She learned bridge at age 14.

Martine works as a book-keeper in her own administration firm.

Debut: Venice Cup in Tunisia 1997 with Wietske van Zwol with whom she played from 1992 to 1994.

Martine, who is a World Women Grand Master,  has done several times in the national Dutch and  the first continental successl in Salsomaggiore-1998 where she won the MEC Teams Championships.

How coach of the Dutch national junior in 2006 she won the European Championships and how player has recently renewed her collection of medals in 2009 winning the silver medal at the European Transnational Teams and the gold medal in the European Women's Open Pairs.

In addition in 2010 she won silver in the European Women's team and in Mc Connell Cup.
