Doug SIMSON

 

 Doug Simson è nato il 29 ottobre del 1949 a Columbus in Ohio ed è un noto banchiere americano, che come ha fatto per lunghissimo tempo la sorella maggiore Sherran Blair, ha diretto le istituzioni creditizie fondate dal padre.

 Ha sempre vissuto a Columbus salvo per il periodo della laurea che ha preso presso la Wharton School di Pennsylvania a Filadelfia.

 Sposato con Joyce ha avuto due figli Elisabeth e Alex.

 Doug amministra tuttora la First City Bank di Columbus nell'Ohio e non ha nessuna intenzione di pensionarsi. La sua è una delle pochissime Banche prive di azionisti, è unicamente di sua proprietà e la gestisce non tanto per arricchirsi quanto per portare avanti i suoi ideali di vita.

 Ottimo giocatore, ha imparato a giocare al tavolo dei genitori e gioca spesso con in coppia con i coniugi Rodwell.

 Oggi è un World International Master che ha vinto 4 NABC tra i quali ricordiamo due GNT nel 1990 e nel 2010. 

 Oltre al bridge ama molto anche il golf.

   Doug Simon was born in 1949 in Columbus OH and is a famous American banker, as it has done for a long time the big sister Sherran Blair, directed credit institutions founded by his father.

He lived always in Columbus except for the five years he lived in Philadelphia, where he earned both B.S. and M.A. degrees from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Married with Joyce, they have been two son: Elisabeth and Alex.

 Doug still administers the First City Bank of Columbus, Ohio and has no plans to retire. His is one of the few banks have no shareholders, is solely owned by him and manages not just to enrich themselves as to carry on his ideals of life.

 Simson has two children, one is a lawyer in New York and the other studied at Cornell University.

Great player, plays often paired with spouses Rodwell and he is a World International Master who won four NABC among which two GNT in 1990 and 2010.

He is also a golf lover.
