Lav Singer è nato nel 1901 a Zagabria (allora Yugoslavia).
Avvocato, ha rappresentato più volte si suo Paese a livello internazionale conquistando un bronzo ai Campionati Europei nel 1935 e un argento nel 1939.
É stato più volte capitano della squadra Iugoslava ed è anche stato presidente della federazione del suo Paese.
Lav scomparve nel 1981.
