Jerome Rombaut è nato nel 1974 a Les Chesnay, un paese 40Km a NE di Le Havre, ed è uno dei migliori giocatori francesi in attività.
Ha iniziato a giocare a 15 anni con il suo compagno di studi Laurent Bouscarel, oggi anche lui un buon giocatore a livello nazionale, e molto presto ha cominciato a far parte delle Squadre giovanili francesi.
Oggi vive a Wrattelos un paese poco a Nord di Lille con la moglie Céline e tre figli e lavora come ingegnere presso la GoTo Software che ha sede ad Hem un Paese poco lontano da dove vive e con la quale ha sviluppato FunBridge, un programma per giocare a bridge confrontando i propri risultati con quelli di molti altri giocatori.
Jerome è un World International Master che ha vinto diversi titoli Nazionali e che fa spesso parte della Nazionale maggiore del suo Paese.
Sul piano internazionale ha vinto i Campionati Europei Giovanili del 1994 e la medaglia di bronzo in quelli Universitari del 1999 e nel White House del 2007.

Today he lives in Wrattelos, a country just north of Lille with his wife Celine and three children and works as a software engineer at GoTo, which is based in Hem a country not far from where he lives and with whom he developed FunBridge, a program to play bridge by comparing their results with those of many other players.
Jerome is a World International Master who has won several national titles and that is often part of the national team of his country.
At international level he won the European Youth (1994) and he earned two bronze medals in the Universities Championships (1999) and in the White House (2007).
