Harold Joseph Lilie è nato il 13 marzo del 1947 a New York, ha studiato presso il Queens College ed ha vissuto ad Austin prima di stabilirsi a Las Vegas.
Harold, che nell'ultima parte della sua vita si era dedicato di più al poker sportivo, è stato un Grand Life Master dell'ACBL che ha partecipato per un paio di volte alla Rosenblum e che assieme ad alcuni piazzamenti di rilievo ha vinto 5 NABC tra i quali ricordiamo il Mitchell ed il Wernher del 1982.
Vedovo di Jocelyn, anche lei ottima bridgista vincitrice di 5 NABC tra cui due Sternberg (1986 e 1990) e anche del bronzo ai mondiali femminili del 1994.
Harold, che si era risposato con Janis, è scomparso il 5 ottobre del 2019 a Las Vegas.

Harold, who in the last part of his life had devoted himself more to sports poker, was an ACBL Grand Life Master who participated for a two times in the Rosenblum and who together with some important placements won 5 NABC among which we remember the Mitchell and the Wernher of 1982.
Widow of Jocelyn, she also excellent bridge player winner of 5 NABC including two Sternberg (1986 and 1990) and also bronze in the women's world championship in 1994.
Harold, who had remarried with Janis, passed away on October 5, 2019 in Las Vegas.
