Rossen Gunev è nato il 18 agosto del 1968, è uno dei migliori giocatori bulgari e vive a Sofia dove lavora.

 Ha conosciuto il bridge a scuola quando aveva 14 anni ed un paio d'anni più tardi ha iniziato a fare i suoi primi tornei.

 Nonostante non sia un bridgista professionista, ha riportato una serie di successi che gli hanno valso il titolo di World International Master. 

 Due volte terzo nella Champion Cup (2008 e 2001), due volte campione Europeo a Coppie Miste (2007 e 2013) ed una terza volta medaglia d'argento (2009), campione d'Europa a Squadre Miste nel 2009 dopo aver vinto il bronzo nel 2002, terzo nella White House International Top Teams del 2008.

Nel 2013  ha vinto il Cavendish Pairs ed è arrivato secondo nella Champion Cup.

Nel 2015 ha guadagnato l'argento nel Transazionale Mondiale a Squadre.

  Rossen Gunev was born on 1968,18 August  is one of the best players from Bulgaria and lives in Sofia where he works.

 He knew the bridge to school when he was 14 years old and a few years later he began to make his first tournaments.

Although not a professional bridge player, he has reported a series of successes that have earned him the title of World International Master.

Twice third in the Champion Cup (2008 and 2001), twice European champion in Mixed Pairs (2007 and 2013) and a third time silver medalist (2009), European champion in Mixed Team in 2009 after winning the bronze in 2002, third in the White House International Top Teams of 2008.

In 2013 he won the Cavendish Pairs and earned the silver medal in Champion Cup.

In 2015 he earned the silver medal in the World Transnational Open Teams.
