Poi si è trasferito in Florida ad Aventura una cittadina rivierasca poco a nord di Miami Beach.
Giocatore professionista ama il golf, tifare calcio e i suoi immancabili sigari.
Il novello "cigar" si è messo in evidenza sulla scena americana vincendo il Jacoby nel 2000 e la Reisinger nel 2006.
Recentemente è salita su quella internazionale vincendo l'European Trasnational Open Team del 2011.
