Cathy Baɬdysz è nata il 15 settembre 1961 ed è cresciuta a Portage nel Michigan dove ha frequentato la locale Northern High School prima di laurearsi presso l'Università del Michigan.
Oggi lavora presso la multinazionale PPG di Breslavia ed è una World Women Life Master ed una delle migliori giocatrici polacche.
Gioca spesso con il marito Mark Baɬdysz e a volte fa coppia con la figlia Sofia nella nazionale polacca.
Le sue migliori affermazioni in campo internazionale sono costituite dai bronzi conquistati con la nazionale polacca alle Olimpiadi del 2012 e agli Europei a Squadre Femminili del 2016, intramezzati dall'argento nel Transnazionale Europeo Misto a Squadre Miste del 2015.
Nel 2018 ha vinto i Campionati Europei a Squadre Femminili e nel 2019 l'IMSA Women Master's, in entrambe le occasioni giocando in coppia con la figlia Zofia, con la quale ha anche conquistato il bronzo Venice Cup del 2022.
Nel suo palmares figura anche la vittoria nella Yuang Guang Sheng Cup Pairs del 2013.
Sophia Baɬdysz ha studiato presso la Adam Mickiewicz University e nel bridge ci è cresciuta visto che i genitori ed i nonni erano giocatori di talento.
World Women International Master, ha vinto l'argento agli Europei Giovanili a Squadre del 2017 ed ai Mondiali del 2018, mentre, con la nazionale maggiore e in coppia con la madre ha vinto gli Europei Femminili del 2018 e gli IMSA Women Master's nel 2019.

Nel suo palmares figura anche un argento conquistato agli Europei Giovanili a Coppie Femminili nel 2018, un oro vinto nella stessa competizione nel 2019 ed il bronzo nella Venice Cup del 2022 appaiata alla madre.
Il fratello Sam è anche lui un discreto bridgista.
Nel 2022 le Baɬdysz hanno vinto i Campionati Europei a Squadre Femminili giocando in coppia.
La cosa veramente stupefacente di questa famiglia di bridgisti è che anche padre e figlio fanno coppia al tavolo verde.

She play often with your husband Mark Baldysz and some times with the her daughter Zofia paired in the Poland women team.
Her best international affirmations are made up of the bronze medals won with the Polish national women team in the 2012 Olympiads and the 2016 European Women's Teams, interspersed with silver in the 2015 European Mixed Transnational Teams.
In 2018 she won the European Women Teams Championships and in 2019 she won the IMSA Women Master's both paired her daughter Zofia with which he also won the bronze Venice Cup of 2022.
Sophia Baɬdysz studied at Adam Mickiewicz University and grew up in bridge as parents and grandparents were talented players.
World Women International Master, won silver at the European Youth Teams of 2017 and at the 2018 World Cup, while, with the major national team and paired with her mother she won the 2018 European Women's Championships, the 2019 IMSA Women Master's, the 2019 European Girls Teams and bronze in the 2022 Venice Cup paired with her mother.
In his palmares there is also a silver won at the European Youth Championships for Pairs in 2018.
Brother Sam is also a decent bridge player.
In 2022 the Baɬdysz paired won the European Women Championships.
The truly amazing thing about this family of bridge players is that father and son are also a pair at the green table.
