Dario  ATTANASIO

 Nato a Catania nel 1960, Dario Attanasio è un manager d'azienda che ha iniziato a giocare giovanissimo e che oggi, grazie ai suoi successi bridgistici, ha raggiunto la qualifica di Word International Master e di Italian Grand Master.

 Sposato con la campionessa azzurra Gabriella Manara, Dario ha vinto i Campionati Europei a Squadre di Malta nel 1999 ed, in coppia con la moglie, ha conquistato il bronzo in quelli a Coppie Miste di Mentone nel 2003.  Sul piano internazionale, sempre in coppia con Gabriella, ha anche vinto un Campionato MEC a coppie miste nel 1985 ed il bronzo nella Wuhan Cup del 2022.

Sul piano nazionale ha vinto una dozzina di titoli tra i quali ricordiamo:  il Campionato Nazionale a Squadre Juniores nel 1984, vinto 4 volte i Campionati Italiani a Coppie Libere (1990, 2001, 2007, 2023), i Campionati Italiani a  Squadre del 1986 e del 1998 e in coppia con la moglie il Campionato Nazionale a Coppie Miste del 1998 e quello a Squadre Miste nel 2014 e 2022.

Nel 2016 è anche stato il coach della nazionale Under 21 che ha vinto i Campionati del Mondo e nel 2019 il cng degli azzurrini che hanno guadagnato l'argento nel BAM Teams ai Mondiali Giovanili Open.

Nel 2022 ha conquistato il bronzo agli Europei Misti e nel 2023 è diventato campione italiano a Coppie Miste.

Born in Catania in 1960, Dario is a manager 's company. He started playing very young and today, thanks to his successes bridge players, reached the status of Word International Master and Italian Grand Master.

Married with blue champion Gabriella Manara, Dario won the European Team Championships in Malta in 1999, teaming with his wife, won the bronze medal in the Mixed Pairs those in Menton in 2003.  Internationally, always paired with Gabriella, also won a EC Championship Mixed Pairs in 1985 and the bronze medal in the Wuhan Cup of 2022.

At the national level he won a dozen of titles among which we remember: the Junior National Teams Championships in 1984, won the Italian Pairs Championships (1990, 2001, 2007 e 2023),  the Italian Teams Championships (1986 and 1998) and together his wife, the Italian Mixed Pairs in 1998 and the Italian Mixed Teams in 2014 and in 2022.

In 2016 he has been the coach of Youngsters National Team who won the World Youth title and in 2019 he is the npc of Italian teams that earned the silver medal in BAM at the Open World Youth Championships.

In 2022 he earned the bronze medal in the European Mixed Team and in 2023 he won the Italian Mixed Pairs.
