Ravindra Murthy è nato a Cuppertino nel 1966 e come bridgista è stato tra i migliori giovani statunitensi della sua generazione facendo parte anche della nazionale USA.
Laureato in legge, lavorava in uno studio di New York quando, ancora giovanissimo, scomparve nel novembre del 2000 a causa di un cancro al colon.
In campo nazionale ha registrato alcuni piazzamenti prestigiosi e in coppia con il super campione Brad Moss, ha vinto due NABC tra cui il Grand National Teams del 1993.

US national team.
A law graduate, he worked in a New York firm when, still very young, he passed away in November 2000 due to colon cancer.
Domestically he recorded some prestigious placings and paired with super champion Brad Moss, won two NABC including the 1993 Grand National Teams.
