Katarina è nata a Stoccolma nel 1959 dove vive da single essendo i suoi parenti a Phoenix.

 Katarina è una delle più forti giocatori svedesi in attività che ha conquistato nel corso della sua carriera internazionale un bronzo nella Venice Cup del 1993 e nella Mc Connell Cup del 2006 e un oro nell'Individuale Mondiale del 2008.

 Sul piano continentale è stata due volte Campionessa Europea a Squadre (1993 e 2004) e ha vinto l'argento nello Squadre Miste del 2003.

World Life Master, ha anche conquistato l'argento nell'Europeo a Squadre Miste Transnazionali nel 2003.
