Catarina è nata a Stoccolma nel 1959 e vive a Kungsholmen nei dintorni della capitale.

 Catarina è una delle migliori insegnanti della Federazione Svedese ed è tra le più forti giocatrici svedesi in attività ha conquistato nel corso della sua carriera internazionale un bronzo nella Venice Cup del 1993 e nella Mc Connell Cup del 2006 e un oro nell'Individuale Mondiale del 2008.

 Sul piano continentale è stata due volte Campionessa Europea a Squadre (1993 e 2004) e ha vinto l'argento nello Squadre Miste del 2003.

 World Life Master, ha anche conquistato l'argento nell'Europeo a Squadre Miste Transnazionali nel 2003.
