Fiona è nata nel 1985 a Ballina in Australia, una bella città del New South Wales affacciata sul Mar dei Coralli ed ha imparato a giocare guardando la mamma da bambina. A 11 anni fece il suo primo ingresso ospitata dal Circolo di Ballina che risiedeva nella Senior Citizen Hall dove non poteva entrare chi era più giovane di 50 anni.
Si è diplomata alla Southern Cross K-12 di Ballina e a 20 anni ha incontrato Hugh Mc Gann al Gold Coast Congress che sarebbe poi diventato il suo fidanzato e lo ha seguito in Inghilterra ad Harrogate, una cittadina circa 25 Km a nord di Leeds.
Nel 2008 dopo essersi laureata in Australia alla Southern Cross University di Lismore, legò una fortunata partnership con Susan Stockdale che l'avrebbe presto portata a far parte della formidabile Nazionale inglese
Fiona ha colto la sua prima affermazione prestigiosa vincendo l'argento ai Campionati Mondiali IMSA nello Squadre Femminile.
Nel 2012 arriva la consacrazione con la doppia vittoria ai Campionati Europei e alle Olimpiadi, seguito dall'argento nella Venice Cup 2013 che le vale il titolo di World Women Grand Master.
Sempre nel 2013 guadagna l'argento ai World Mind Games nello Squadre Femminile seguito dall'oro l'anno successivo in cui guadagna ancora l'argento nei Campionati Europei a Squadre Femminili.
Nel 2016 guadagna il bronzo agli IMSA Elite Mind Games, vince il Campionato Europeo a Squadre Femminili, mentre, nel 2017 vince l'argento negli Elite Mind Games sia nello squadre femminili che nel coppie femminili.
Nel 2018 ha vinto la McConnell e nel 2022 ha guadagnato il bronzo Venice Cup.

At age 11 she made his first entry hosted by the Club of Ballina who resided in the Senior Citizen Hall where he could not get those who were younger than 50 years.
At age 20 she met Hugh Mc Gann at the Gold Coast Congress who would later become her boyfriend and followed him to England in Harrogate, a town about 25 kilometers north of Leeds.
In 2008 she tied a successful partnership with Susan Stockdale that would take soon become part of the formidable National English.
In 2011 she graduated from Southern Cross University in Lismore and won silver at the IMSA World Championships.
In 2012, the consecration comes with the double victory at the European Championships and the Olympics followed by the silver in 2013 Venice Cup and the title of World Women Grand Master.
Still, in 2013 she earned the silver medal in the World Mind Games Women Teams followed by gold the next year and in 2014 earned an other silver medal in the European Women Teams Championships.
In 2016 she earn the bronze medal in the IMSA Elite Mind Games, won the European Women Teams and earned the silver medal in the 2017 Elite Mind Games both Teams and Pairs.
In 2018 she won the McConnell and in 2022 she earned the bronze medal in Venice Cup.
