 Andrew Wilson Black è nato a Carshalton (sud di Londra) il 13 maggio del 1963.

 Imprenditore, allevatore di cavalli e giocatore di bridge, ha studiato al King's College di Wimbledon e matematica all'università di Exeter senza per altro laurearsi.

 Sposato con Jane ha 4 figli.

 Giocatore d'azzardo fece abbastanza soldi con le vincite per divenire co-fondatore di Betfair assieme al suo compagno di bridge di allora. La Betfair dopo aver acquisito la rivale Flutter divenne uno dei di siti di scommesse più noto al mondo e arrivò a coprire il 90% del mercato britannico.

Quando la Betfair si quotò in borsa, Andrew mantenne gran parte del suo pacchetto azionario beneficiando della scalata del prezzo delle azioni il cui prezzò crebbe da 13 a 44 dollari l'una.

Grazie a questa fortuna poté andare a vivere in una scuderia nel Sussex è intraprendere la carriere di allevatore di puro sangue. Anche questa passione divenne redditizia e nella sua scuderia crebbe Brown Panther che fu capace di vincere la Goodwood Cup del 2013.

Oggi ha differenziato i suoi investimenti in molti campi e continua a dedicarsi alle altre passioni della sua vita: i cavalli ed il bridge.

il bridge lo ha imparato quando aveva 16 anni ed oggi ha guadagnato il titolo di World Master ed ha vinto diversi titoli nazionali.

Sul piano internazionale ha vinto l'argento al primo Campionato Europeo d'Inverno ed il bronzo nella Champion Cup del 2018.

Entrepreneur, horse breeder and bridge player, he studied at King's College in Wimbledon and mathematics at the University of Exeter without graduating.

Married to Jane, he has 4 children.

Gambler made enough winnings to become co-founder of Betfair alongside his then bridge partner. Betfair after acquiring rival Flutter became one of the best known betting sites in the world and came to cover 90% of the UK market.

When Betfair went public, Andrew retained a large portion of his stock while benefiting from the rise in the price of the stock which rose from $ 13 to $ 44 each.

Thanks to this luck he was able to go to live in a stable in Sussex and undertake a career as a pure blood breeder.

This passion also became profitable and in his stable grew Brown Panther who was able to win the 2013 Goodwood Cup.

Today he has diversified his investments in many fields and continues to devote himself to the other passions of his life: horses and bridge.

He learned bridge when he was 16 and today he earned the World Master title and won several national titles.

On the international level, he won silver in the first European Winter Championship and bronze in the 2018 Champion Cup.
