Jean Claude Beineix č nato il 30 agosto del 1931 a Limoges, padre di Thierry e di David(entrambi buoni giocatori) , risposato con Odile (anche lei buona giocatrice), pensionato ministeriale, č stato l'organizzatore di molti campionati Internazionali.
Professore di matematica, decise verso la metą degli anni '70 di dedicare molto del suo tempo al bridge.
Vice Presidente dal 1983 e Presidente della FFB dal 1989 al 1995, ha ricoperto vari incarichi internazionali ed č stato Vice Presidente emerito della EBL, membro emerito del Consiglio WBF e Presidente Onorario della FFB.
Jean Claude ha guidato come capitano non giocatore la squadra femminile Francese che ha vinto i Campionati del MEC nel 1987.

Come giocatore č un World Master che vanta un bronzo ai Campionati Europei Seniores a Squadre del 2001.
Per il suo operato nel bridge č stato eletto nel Comitato d'Onore WBF.
É scomparso dopo una breve malattia il 25 dicembre del 2014.
Il figlio Thierry Beineix č nato a Saintes ma vive a Limoges e ha vinto i campionati nazionali giocando in coppia con la moglie Gaėlle Beinex.

He started his career as a mathematics teacher in 1963 but in the middle of 70's he also decided to dedicate a big part of his life to Bridge.
Vice President since 1983 and President of the FFB from 1989 to 1995, has been EBL Vice President Emeritus and WBF Council member.
He was also captain of the French Team who won the Women's MEC Championships n 1987.
As a player, is a World Master boasting a bronze medal at the European Seniors Teams Championships in 2001.
Today he is the Honorary President of FFB and he has been elected in the WBF Committee of Honour.
He died after a brief illness on December 25, 2014.
The son Thierry was born in Saintes but live in Limoges with the wife Gaėlle. Together they won national titles.
