Marek  WOJCICKI

 

 Marek Wojcicki è nato nel 1957 ed è un ingegnere chimico che vive a Przemysl una città ad Est di Cracovia e vicina al confine con l'Ucraina.

 Sposato, ha due figli (un maschio ed una femmina) ed è manager in un industria chimica locale.

 Marek ha imparato a giocare a Bridge quando aveva 13 anni e dopo tre anni è entrato nel bridge agonistico vincendo diversi titoli nazionali e nel 1982 è diventato Campione Europeo Juniores  a Squadre e nel 1985 ha vinto il Trofeo Modiano.

 Vincitore di diversi titoli polacchi, oltre ad aver vinto l'argento nel 2002 nello IOC GRand Prix, ha vinto nel 2001 lo Spring Foursomes e nel 2005 il Sicily Open.

 Articolista e scrittore di bridge molto noto  nell'Est Europa, tra le altre cose è l'editore della più antica e diffusa rivista polacca: "Brydż" ed ha pubblicato nel 1992 "Competitive Bidding" e nel 1998 "Bridge for Everybody" (riedito nel 2002).

 È anche stato il coach della nazionale polacca medaglia d'argento agli Europei  del 2010 e medaglia d'oro nella Bermuda Bowl  del 2019.

He has being playing bridge since 1970, in competitions since 1973.

Polish player, journalist and writer, editor of the oldest Polish bridge magazine "BRYDŻ", author of "Competitive Bidding" (1992), "Bridge for Everybody (1998, 2002), numerous national wins, European Junior Champion 1982, Trofeo Modiano 1985, international wins including Spring Foursomes 2001, 2-nd IOC Grand Prix Salt Lake City 2002, Sicily Open 2005.

IBPA member (prize for the article on the best played hand of 2006).

He was also the coach of the Polish National Team that won the silver medal at the European Open Teams Championships, Ostend 2010 and the Bermuda Bowl in 2019.
