Andrée Sussel è nata nel 1914 e negli anni '50 e '60 è stata una delle migliori giocatrici francesi.
Ha vinto sei medaglie ai Campionati Europei a Squadre, 3 ori (1956, 1965 e 1969), due argenti (1962 e 1966) ed un bronzo (1959) ed altre medaglie ha conquistato ai Campionati del MEC: 2 ori ed un argento nel Coppie Femminile (1967, 1971 e 1969), 2 ori nello Squadre Ladies (1969 e 1975).
Passata nella Categoria Seniores si è limitata a competere su scala nazionale giocando spesso le Competizioni di Misto con il campione Léon Tintner.
Si è spenta nel 2000 a Cannes dopo una lunga malattia.
Suo figlio Patrick ha seguito le orme materne ed è un valente bridgista che ha vinto alcune medaglie nei Campionati Europei sia nella Categoria Open che, più tardi, in quella Seniores.
Sussel Andrée was born in 1914 and in the '50s and '60s was one of the best French players.
He won six medals at the European Championships for Teams, 3 gold medals (1956, 1965 and 1969), two silvers (1962 and 1966) and bronze (1959) and some other medals won MEC Championships: 2 golds and a silver in pairs Women (1967, 1971 and 1969), 2 gold in the Ladies Teams (1969 and 1975).
Passed in the senior category was limited to compete at national competitions playing often mixed with the sample Leon Tintner.
He died at Cannes in 2000 after a long illness.
His son Patrick has followed in the footsteps nursery and is a skilled bridge player who won several medals in European Championships in the Open Category which is later in the Seniors.
