Dopo gli Hackett si era affacciata sulla scena della ribalta internazionale un'altra coppia di gemelle, che hanno colto interessanti risultati in campo giovanile.

 Nate il 17 marzo 1988 a Utrecht dove vivono, Sigrid si è laureata all'Università di Utrecht e ha conseguito un master a quella di Leida, Jamilla ha studiato alla Hogeschool di Utrecht ed oggi vive a Delft.

 Entrambe hanno fatto parte della nazionale giovanile olandese e  in coppia sono arrivate terze nella Transnationals Pairs Magerman Cup del 2010 e hanno collezionato una serie di medaglie nei Campionati Europei Giovanili Femminili a Squadre (l'argento nel 2007 e nel 2011 ed il bronzo nel 2009) e hanno vinto l'argento nei Mondiali di Categoria del 2012.

 Sigrid, che nel 2017 si è sposata con il World Master Ernst Wackwitz, ha anche vinto i Campionati Europei Femminili a Coppie del 2012.

Entrambe le sorelle sperano di prendere parte prima o poi alla Venice Cup, magari giocando in coppia.

After the Hackett twins  is emerging on the scene of the international spotlight another pair of twins, who are seizing interesting results in the youth field.

Jamilla Spangenberg and Sigrid were born March 17, 1988 in Utrecht.

Jamilla has studied at the Hogeschool University of Applied Sciences and today lives in Delft, Sigrid has studied at St. Bonifatius College and at the Utrecht University and she is doing a master at Leida University.

Both are part of the Dutch Youth National  and play in pairs.

Paired, they came third in the Transnationals Pairs Magerman Cup in 2010 and have collected a series of medals in the European Girls Teams Championships (two silver medal in 2007 and 2011 and a bronze medal in the 2009).

Sigrid who married the World Master Ernst Wackwitz in 2017, also won 2012 European Girls Pairs championships.

Both hope to take part in the Venice Cup, sooner or later, maybe playing in pairs.
