Jaggy Shivdasani è nato presso Bombay nel 1958 e si è messo in mostra quando a soli 16 anni vinse "The Holkar Trophy" al suo debutto nel bridge agonistico.
Dopo aver vinto molti titoli nazionali, Jaggy ha rappresentato l'India in diverse occasioni inclusa quella delle Olimpiadi del 1987 dove la squadra indiana riuscì ad arrivare in semifinale battuta solo dallo squadrone americano che poi si sarebbe aggiudicato il titolo.
Un altro record di Jaggy è costituito dall'aver vinto al suo debutto sulla scena dei NABC's nel 1987, prima la Spingold e, poi, quattro mesi più tardi, la Reisinger giocando in due squadre diverse.

was born in Bombay in 1958 and was put on display just 16 when he won "The Holkar Trophy" at its debut in competitive bridge.
After winning several national titles, Jaggy has represented India on several occasions including the Olympics of 1987 where the Indian team managed to reach the semi-final, only beaten by the American squadron which later would have earned the title.
Another record of Jaggy is having won his debut on the stage of the NABC's in 1987, before the Spingold and then, four months later, playing in a different team, the Reisinger.
