Jacques Pariente è nato a Parigi nel 1929 ed assieme alla moglie Fanny è stato una figura di spicco del bridge francese dello scorso secolo.
Campione Europeo nel 1966 ha anche guadagnato il bronzo nel 1955 e l'argento nel 1959 e 1967. Un altro bronzo l'ha guadagnato nella Bermuda Bowl del 1967.
Ha anche guidato la nazionale femminile francese che ha vinto l'argento agli europei del 1971 con in squadra la moglie.
É scomparso nel 2013.
Fanny Pariente nata nel 1926 come Sara Fajga Jankielewicz è stata una delle migliori giocatrici francesi dello scorso secolo.
Fanny ha vinto l'argento ai Mondiali a Coppie Femminili del 1962 e agli Europei a Squadre Femminili del 1962, 1970 e 1971.
Ha anche conquistato l'oro ai Campionati del MEC a Squadre Femminili nel 1969 e l'argento in quelli del 1985.
É scomparsa a Niort il 14 maggio del 2011

European Champion in 1966, he also earned the bronze in 1955 and silver in 1959 and 1967.

He also led the French national women who won silver at the European team in 1971 with his wife player.
He disappeared in 2013.

Fanny won silver at the World Pairs Championships in 1962 and at the European Teams Championships in 1962, 1970 and 1971.
She also won gold at the EC Women Teams Championships in 1969 followed by silver in those of 1985.
She disappeared in Niort the 14 May 2011.
