Terry Michaels è stata una forte giocatrice americana, proprietaria di club, insegnante e direttrice di torneo, meglio conosciuta nell'ambiente come "dog lady".

 Nata nel 1927, passò gran parte della sua vita nel distretto di Washington dove prima si associò alla famosa Charles Goren School e più tardi si stabilì presso il Bridge Center di Washington.

 Vincitrice di 6 NABC, tra i quali ricordiamo il Whitehead del 1967 e gli Sterneberg del 1963, 1966 e 1973, colse il suo miglior risultato a livello internazionale con il bronzo conquistato nella McConnell Cup del 1998.

 Scomparve a causa di un cancro ai polmoni il 6 agosto del 2005.

Terry Michaels was a strong American player, owner of club, teacher and tournament director, better known in the environment as "dog lady".

 Born in 1927, she spent most of her life in the Washington district where she first joined the famous Charles Goren School and later settled at the Bridge Center in Washington.

 Winner of 6 NABC, among which we remember the Whitehead of 1967 and the Sternebergs of 1963, 1966 and 1973, she took his best result at the international level with the bronze earned in the McConnell Cup in 1998.

Disappeared due to lung cancer on August 6, 2005.
