Guy Lasserre è nato il primo marzo del 1947 a Bayonne una città dell'Aquitania nei pressi del confine spagnolo e della splendida Biarritz.
Ha studiato presso il Liceo Saint Louis Villa Pia di Bayonne ed oggi vive nella vicina Anglet.
Professore di Bridge ha praticato il Tennis, ama molto il Golf e parla inglese e spagnolo.
Come giocatore ha guadagnato i suoi allori internazionali nella Categoria Seniores. Ha vinto il Transnazionale Europeo nel 2003 e 2001, il Campionato Europeo a Squadre nel 2002 (seguito da un bronzo nel 2004) e la Coppa D'Orsi nel 2011.
Senior Life Master, ha anche vinto nelle classiche di Biarritz, il Misto nel 2011, l'Open a Coppie nel 2006 e 2011, il Patton Scratch nel 1998 e 2002.
Nel 2012 e 2018 vince il Campionato Europeo Seniores a Squadre.
