Jan  KAMRAS

 Jan Kamras è nato a Malmö nel 1950 ed oggi vive nella capitale svedese dopo un lungo periodo passato in Svizzera, Giappone e Stati Uniti.

 Laureato in economia, ha ricoperto più posizioni manageriali in grandi multinazionali ed oggi è in pensione. Oltre allo svedese parla correntemente inglese, tedesco e francese.

 Sulle orme paterne gioca a bridge fin dall'età dell'infanzia ed in alcune occasioni ha rappresentato sia la nazionale svedese che quella svizzera.

 Campione di Svezia nel 2011, oltre ad alcuni tornei internazionali, ha vinto il Cavendish Teams nel 2013 e, per i colori svedesi, i Maccabiah del 1991.

 Oltre a far parte del Consiglio della Federazione Svedese fin dal 2007 di cui è attualmente Vice Presidente, ha ricoperto diversi incarichi in EBL fino a diventarne Presidente nel 2018.

 Scapolo, è stato anche capitano non giocatore sia della nazionale Svedese che ha guidato all'argento negli Europei a Squadre del 2004, che di quella Svizzera.

 Nel 2022 diviene Presidente della WBF.

  Jan Kamras was born in Malmö in 1950 and today lives in the Swedish capital after a long period spent in Switzerland, Japan and the United States.

He graduated in economics, held several managerial positions in large multinational companies and is now retired. In addition to the Swedish, he is fluent in English, German and French.

In his father's footsteps he has been playing bridge since childhood and on some occasions he has represented both the Swedish and the Swiss national teams.

Sweden Champion in 2011, in addition to some international tournaments, won the Cavendish Teams in 2013 and, for the Swedish colors, the Maccabiah of 1991.

In addition to being a member of the Swedish Federation Council since 2007 of which he is currently Vice President, he has held various positions in the EBL until becoming President in 2018.

Bachelor, he was also a non-player captain of both the Swedish national who led the silver in the 2004 European Team Championships, and that of Switzerland.

In 2022 he is elected at Presidency of WBF.
