Kamel Fergani è nato in Algeria e si è trasferito in Canada nel 1972 dove gestisce un suo Circolo di bridge in Montreal.
Ha rappresentato diverse volte la nazionale canadese e, tra le sue numerose affermazioni, ricordiamo la medaglia d'argento nella NEC Cup del 2002.
