Nato nel 1953 è oggi un uomo d'affari ed uno dei migliori giocatori di bridge del suo Paese.

 Tim ha iniziato a giocare a 18 anni e ha conquistato il suo primo titolo importante vincendo i Campionati a squadre dell'ex USSR nel 1989.

 Si è poi ripetuto nei Campionati di Russia del 1993, 1994 e 1996.

 La sua prima affermazione prestigiosa in campo internazionale è la conquista del bronzo agli Europei Open di Malmoe in Svezia nel 2004.

 Gioca abitualmente con Alexander Petrounin anch'egli noto in campo internazionale e di 10 anni più giovane.

Tim started playing at 18 and scored his first major title by winning the Championship Team of the former USSR in 1989.

He is then repeated in the Championship of Russia in 1993, 1994 and 1996.

His first statement prestigious in international affairs has been winning the bronze medal at the Open Teams European Championships in Malmoe in Sweden in 2004.
