Yvonne Wiseman è nata a Oxford l'8 gennaio del 1993 in una famiglio di bridgisti ma si è trasferita in Scozia quando aveva 8 anni e lì ha iniziato a giocare.

Ben presto è entrata a far parte della nazionale giovanile scozzese giocando in coppia con il fratello Ralph ed è anche stata presidente del Bridge Club Universitario di Edimburgo.
Dopo aver frequentato l'Accademia Belmont ha studiato chimica presso l'Università di Edimburgo prima di trasferirsi a Stoccolma come ragazza alla pari e implementare i suoi studi alla Folk University.
Oggi è fidanzata con un ragazzo svedese lavora presso la ALS ed è entrata nel giro della nazionale svedese.
Yvonne, che oltre al bridge ama la pittura, il disegno, il nuoto e la lettura, ha colto la sua prima medaglia internazionale nel 2017 vincendo il bronzo per la squadra delle Girls inglesi.
Poi nel 2018 è arrivato l'argento nella McConnell e nel 2019 il bronzo nella Venice Cup.
Yvonne Wiseman was
born in Oxford 1993, January 8 to bridge playing parents. She moved to the west coast of
Scotland when she was 8, and soon after enrolled in mini bridge classes. She
first played for the Scottish junior team in 2006, and continued to represent
them for 10 years partnering her younger brother Ralph.
Whilst studying for a Chemistry degree in Edinburgh, she set up a partnership with Fiona McQuaker, and together they played in the Scottish Ladies team for 4 years, winning two Lady Milnes and going to two European championships. During her final year of University, Yvonne tried to stop playing so much international bridge so she could focus on graduating, but she ended up being persuaded to jump ship and join the English.
Upon graduating in 2015, she moved to Stockholm to be an au pair for three adorable little girls. This resulted in her finding a boy (a fellow bridge player of course), falling in love and never returning. However, her bridge is all the better after two years of training with the Swedish national teams. The bridge club in Stockholm is the biggest in the world, regularly having 80+ tables on a club night.
Her first international medal is the bronze take at European Girls Teams in 2017 before the silver in McConnell of 2018 and the bronze in 2019 Venice Cup..
She is currently working as an Environmental Chemist, analyzing metal contaminants in soil and water. Yvonne speaks fluent Swedish and her hobbies include swimming, painting and reading.
