Rumen Trendafilov è nato a Varna il 10 febbraio del 1962, ha studiato presso l'università tecnica locale ed è sposato.

 Nel 2000 guadagna il bronzo nei Campionati Mondiali Transnazionali a Squadre e nel 2002 conquista lo stesso metallo negli Europei a Squadre.

 Nel 2007 vince il Jacoby ai NABC e nel 2012 fa parete della squadra che difende i colori Europei nella Warren Buffett Cup.

   Rumen Trendafilov was born in Varna on 10 February 1962, married he studied at local technical university.

 In 2000 he earned a bronze medal in the World Championships in Transnational Teams in 2002 and winning the same metal in the European Team.

 In 2007 he won the Jacoby at the NABC in 2012 and is the wall of the team that defends the colors in the European Team in the Warren Buffett Cup.
