Jose Manuel Robles Vazquez è nato nel 1949 ed è un ingegnere civile che ha speso la sua intera vita professionale in campo accademico.
Oggi è il Preside della Facoltà di Ingegneria più prestigiosa del Paese in un Università privata.
Suo figlio Benjamin fa parte della nazionale cilena e suo genero Kevin Baxter è un nazionale USA.
Come bridgista ha vinto innumerevoli volte la Coppa d'Oro (il maggior Campionato cileno) ed ha fatto più volte parte della Nazionale del suo Paese partecipando alle Bermuda Bowl del 1997 e del 2009.
Jose Manuel Robles was born in 1949 and he is a civil
engineer that has dedicated most of his professional life to the academic area.
Today he works as the dean of the School of Engineering at one of the most prestigious private universities in Chile.
He is the father of Benjamin Robles, another member of the Chilean team and father-in-law of Kevin Bathurst (USA2).
Together with his long time partner Marcelo, Jose has represented Chile in the 1997 and 2009 Bermuda Bowl, as well as in 37 South American Championships, and won the Copa de Oro over 35 times (the premier Chilean team tournament).
