Magnus Eidur  MAGNUSSON

Nato nel 1972 a Reykjavik, vive in un piccolo comune del nord est del'Islanda chiamato Husavik.

 Scapolo, ha iniziato a giocare a bridge a 17 anni quando ha abbandonato gli scacchi.

 Dal 1999 è in pianta stabile nella nazionale islandese e assieme ad alcuni titoli nazionali il suo miglior risultato resta la medaglia d'argento conquistata nel 2003 nell'Europeo a Squadre Miste di Mentone.

 Il suo ricordo migliore è però quello di essere stato scritturato nella Squadra Rappé per la Vanderbilt del 1997.

 Magnus gioca a Golf, ama la musica, passa molto del suo tempo su BBO e sogna di vincere una Bermuda Bowl.

Have played for the Icelandic National team more or less since 1999. 

Before that I played 2 nordic and 2 european youth championships. 

Future plans win Bermuda Bowl with Iceland 2011 in Eindhoven. 

Hobbies Golf music hanging on BBO. 

My best memory was playing in team Rappé 1997 vanderbilt in Reno Nevada. 

Also second place in mixed team european open in Menton. 

Other memerable moments was winning strong pair tourney in sweden when me and my partner Sven-Ake Bjerregard had 83% score in last session of 16 boards. 

My worsed memory was not qualify for Bermuda Bowl after european championship in Poland 2006 we needed 21 vs Sweden in last match only got 15.
