Rémi  MAARI

 Rémi Maari è nato a Port Said il 13 ottobre del 1954 ed è un imprenditore di origine egiziana che ha fatto fortuna in Europa.

 La famiglia si trasferì a Parigi nel 1961 e dopo un paio d'anni si stabilì a Monaco. Fu nella capitale francese che Rémi conobbe il bridge durante gli anni dell'università.

 Sposato con Françoise Antoinette Barralis ha avuto due figli e ha vissuto per oltre 16 anni in Inghilterra vincendo i campionati a coppie del Surrey, prima di trasferirsi in Olanda.

 Non appena i figli sono stati in grado di gestire la compagnia è tornato a vivere a Monaco con la moglie ricongiungendosi con la sua famiglia di origine.

Rémi ha anche organizzato alcuni importanti eventi bridgistici internazionali tra i quali per diversi anni il festival di Roquebrune Cap-Martin.

 The family moved to Paris in 1961 and after a couple of years settled in the principality of Monaco.

It was in the French capital that Rémi knew the bridge during the university years.

Married to Françoise Antoinette Barralis had two children and lived for over 16 years in England winning the Surrey pairs championships before moving to the Netherlands.

As soon as the sons were able to manage the company he returned to live in Monaco with his wife reuniting with his family of origin.

Rémi has also organized some important international bridge events, including the Roquebrune Cap-Martin festival for several years.
