Wilfried Libbrechtd è nato il 24 ottobre del 1972 ad Asnières nell'Ile-de-France, ed è un noto bridgista Campione di Francia a Coppie e World Master che ha vinto il Biarritz Patton nel 2012 e che ha fatto parte alcune volte delle nazionali transalpine.

Sposato e separato dalla campionessa Vanessa Reess che gli ha dato il figlio Arthur, oggi vive a Clichy.

Wilfried ha anche guidato la nazionale giovanile femminile francese all'argento nel 2017.

Arthur, che è nato il 9 settembre del 1993 a Pau e che oggi vive anche lui a Clichy, tanto per tener fede alla tradizione familiare, quando era ragazzo ha vinto il bronzo ai Campionati Europei a Squadre Under 16.
