Fernando Alfredo Lema è nato l'1 giugno del 1957 ad Avellaneda pochi chilometri a sud della capitale argentina dove oggi vive con la moglie.
Ha studiato al Collegio Marista Champagnat e all'Università Nazionale delle Arti entrambi situati a Buenos Aires ed è l'editore ed il curatore del sito della Confederazione Sudamericana.
Ha iniziato a giocare a bridge quando aveva 16 anni e tre signore del suo Golf Club cercavano il quarto, ma ha incontrato il suo mentore, il campione Agustin Santamarina qualche anno più tardi.
Oggi è un rinomato insegnante di livello internazionale.
Nel suo palmares di giocatore figura la vittoria nel 59th Campionato a Coppie sudamericano nel 2009.
Fernando Alfredo Lema was born June
1, 1957 in Avellaneda few kilometers south of the Argentine capital where he now
lives with his wife.
He studied at the College Marista Champagnat and the National University of Arts both located in Buenos Aires and is the publisher and editor of the site of the South American Bridge Confederation.
He started to play bridge when he was 16 years and three ladies of his Golf Club sought the fourth, but he met his mentor, the champion Agustin Santamarina, few years later.
Today is a renowned teacher internationally.
In his palmares of bridge player figure the victory in the 59th South American Pairs Championships in 2009.
