Tony  JACKMAN

 

 Anthony Patrick Jackman è nato a Brisbane nel 1938 ed è stato uno dei giocatori ed insegnanti più conosciuti nel Queensland.

 Tony ha studiato al Collegio St. Joseph e nel corso della sua carriera bridgistica ha anche ricoperto diverse cariche amministrative tra cui quella di vice presidente del QBA e di presidente del Gold Coast Congress.

 Giornalista specializzato del Courier Mail, come giocatore ha vinto una decina di titoli nazionali nelle varie categorie.

 É scomparso il 15 agosto del 2018.

Anthony Patrick Jackman was born in Brisbane in 1938 and was one of the best known bridge players and teachers in Queensland.

Tony has studied at St. Joseph's College and has also held various administrative positions during his bridge career, including that of vice president of the QBA and president the Gold Coast Congress.

Bridge correspondent of Courier Mail, as a player he won a dozen national titles in the various categories.

He passed away on August 15th, 2018.
