Cino & Simone DEL DUCA

 

 Cino Del Duca, all'anagrafe Pacifico Del Duca è nato a Montedinove in provincia di Ascoli il 25 luglio 1899 ed è stato un imprenditore, editore, produttore cinematografico e filantropo italiano.

 Ha vissuto e operato soprattutto in Francia dove si era ritirato per motivi politici nel 1932 e dove è ricordato per aver fondato diversi periodici e per l'attività filantropica e di sostegno alla cultura svolta in quel Paese.

 In Italia, tra l'altro, assieme al fratello Lillo, è stato a lungo il proprietario dell'Ascoli Calcio.

 Per la sua attività filantropica, svolta anche dalla moglie francese Simone (a testimonianza del rilievo della sua figura, gli sono state intitolati,  in Italia, lo stadio Cino e Lillo Del Duca di Ascoli Piceno, una via nello stesso capoluogo marchigiano, una a Milano, nei pressi di Piazza San Babila; in Francia, una via a Parigi, e un'altra a Biarritz.

 É stato un bridgista appassionato, forte ed estroso, che ha anche pubblicato alcuni famosi testi di bridge a firma Albarran e che è stato ricordato a lungo dal Torneo parigino che gli era stato intitolato. Giocava spesso in coppia con Simone.

Scomparve improvvisamente a Milano il 24 maggio del 1967 ed è sepolto a Parigi nel cimitero Père-Lachaise.

Simone Nirouet nacque il 18 luglio del 1912 a Saint-Maur-des-Fossés e dopo aver passato una vita lussuosa accanto al marito, creò la Fondazione Cino e Simone Del Duca.

Scomparve a Parigi il 16 maggio del 2004 e riposa accanto al marito.

Cino Del Duca, born Pacific Del Duca was born in Montedinove in the province of Ascoli 25 July 1899 and has been an entrepreneur, publisher, film producer and philanthropist Italian.

He lived and worked mainly in France where he had retired for political reasons in 1932 and where he is remembered for having founded several magazines and for the philanthropic activities and support to the culture carried out in that country.

In Italy, by the way, with his brother Lillo, it has long been the owner Ascoli Football.

For his philanthropic work, also carried out by French wife Simone, reflecting the importance of his figure, they have been named in Italy, Stadium Cino e Lillo Del Duca in Ascoli Piceno, a street in the same Marches capital, one in Milan , near Piazza San Babila; in France, a street in Paris, and another in Biarritz.

He was an avid bridge player, strong and imaginative, who also published some famous bridge texts signed Albarran and that was long remembered by the Parisian tournament that he was entitled.

He disappeared suddenly in Milan on 24 May 1967 and is buried in Pere Lachaise cemetery in Paris.

Simone Nirouet was born on 18 July 1912 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés and after having spent a luxurious life next to her husband, she created the "Cino and Simone Del Duca Foundation".

She disappeared in Paris on May 16, 2004 and rests next to her husband.
