Gerald CARAVELLI

 Gerald A. Caravelli è nato il 25 luglio del 1943 ed è stato un rinomato giocatore statunitense che nella sua carriera ha vinto 6 NABC tra il 1974 ed il 1996.

 Gerald, che viveva a Des Plaines una città circa 30 Km a nord ovest di Chicago nell'Illinois e che professionalmente lavorava in campo assicurativo, ha vinto alcuni NABC's tra i quali ricordiamo il GNT del  1978 e del 1995, il Silodor del 1982 e il Wernher del  1976.

 Gerald ha anche vinto l'International Team Trials del 1996 è stato per lungo tempo partner del super campione Barry Crane ed è anche stato anche Presidente e Vice Presidente della Chicago Contract Bridge Association e pannellista del Bridge World Master Solver Clubs.

 È scomparso il 29 febbraio del 2012.

  Gerald A. Caravelli, Des Plaines IL,  has been a  Grand Life Master that won six NABC titles between 1974 and 1996, and he won the International Team Trials in 1996. Here we remember the GNT of 1978 and 1985, the Silodor of 1982 and the Wernher del 1976.

 He was a regular partner of Barry Crane for many years.

 He served as tournament chairman, president and vice president of the Chicago CBA.

 Gerald was also a dedicated employee at CNA for his entire work career.

 He was also a long-time panelist on The Bridge World Master Solvers Club.

 He disappeared in the spring of 2012.
