Dale  BEERS

 Dale G. Beers è nato e cresciuto nella periferia di Philadelphia nel 1950 e, dopo aver vissuto molti anni in quella città, si è spostato prima nel New England e più tardi a Las Vegas dove è scomparso il 9 luglio del 2014.

 Programmatore di computer, agente di borsa, ed infine, perforatore minerario, Dale è stato anche un giocatore semiprofessionista di baseball ai tempi dell'Università.

 Giocatore di buon livello e fine licitatore, si è distinto vincendo due Campionati Americani, rispettivamente nel 1974 e nel 1979 e si è dedicato pienamente al bridge solo dopo il pensionamento.

 Dale che era un divertente raccontatore, aveva una conoscenza enciclopedica di tutti i fatti del Baseball e di molti di quelli del Bridge, i due sport che amava di più.

  Dale G. Beers was born and raised in suburban Philadelphia in 1950 and, after living many years in that city, he moved first to New England and later in Las Vegas where he died on July 9, 2014.

 Computer programmer, stockbroker, and finally, mining drill, Dale was also a semi-professional baseball player at the time the University.

 Player of a good standard and excellent bidder, he distinguished himself by winning two Championships Americans, respectively in 1974 and 1979 and he dedicated fully to the bridge just after retirement.

 Dale was an entertaining narrator, had an encyclopedic knowledge of all the facts of the Baseball and many of those of the Bridge, the two sports he loved most.
